We are not going to tolerate spamming here. Just in case you are not sure what constitutes spamming here are some examples:
In other words, Try to stay on subject. Post in the forum related to the main content of your topic and don't post the same topic across multiple forums.
Staff can do this in the form of Announcements but it is intentional and needed to properly run the site.
Keep your replies meaningful to the discussion at hand. If you just must express yourself - create a new topic.
This type of spamming will not be tolerated.
It doesn't matter if you are truly expressing yourself or just trying to drive your post count higher - repeated offenses will be dealt with.
While we don't mind off-site links, they should be relative to the topic at hand and only posted once.
While we understand this aspect of spamming it can turn ugly. The Staff here are not your enemy. Consider that we must keep the site favorable to all members. Instead of this type of spamming, contact an administrator and ask to be added on as Staff to help. As for off-topic threads, as long as the thread is about movies it will not be off-topic only misplaced. If your thread gets moved it is to keep the forums relative.
In the future, If off-topic posts are how you all want to express yourself we can create a Random Room for you to play in. But, till, then, lets keep things on topic.
This type of smamming will get action taken immediately. Especially in our Movie Chats in the Drive-In.
Nobody wants to see 5555555555555gggggggggggggguuilklkjkhgjhl'uoi iug in a reply. If that is how you communicate, grow up.
Another thing is, try not to use ALL CAPS. It is well known in chat circles as screaming at people. From time to time it is used as a header and can occur by accident.
Just if someone says something, stop doing it.
The Other Kind of Spam
Don't post links to seller websites or TOS violation items.
Like adware, virus or spyware loaded sites.
Porn and sites like what are in the TOS will not get you reprimanded - your account will be terminated and your IP Address will be flagged.

Spamming
A refined art created by today's youth. Spammers do not follow rules, they don't obey the Adminstraitors or Moderators or unfair rules. They fight for freedom and against oppression of noobs or newbs. They spread humor and break up fights. They do not suck up to the powers that be. They are here to change the way we post. They do not fear the higher ups, they wish only to have fun. This a true spammer. Too many of today's forum users fear the "Ban or Deletion button". They suck up to the heads in order to gain power themselves. They yell at people who do not read the rules in an oppresive manner. This isn't fair, a forum should be warm and welcome. Spammers, true spammers fight for this. They outwit the heads, the push away the oppressors and work for a better forum community.
These kinds of spammers are not the loser kind of spammers that do not use coherance or haze or flame. They are failures in the art of spam.
A post count is a spammer's best friend and a moderator is thier enemy, this is true for all kinds of spammers, bad and good, this may seem contradictory but that is way the game is played it doesnt have to make sense. Off topic and Random threads are our friends as well.

when you just type random letters in a chat room or IM. In some public chats, it can result in getting banned for a short amount of time.
