I watched this in I-max at the theater, then I went back and watched it again in 3d. Worth every penny!
Not only did I love the fight scenes, the creatures in Hollow Earth were interesting additions.
I was hoping MechaGodzilla would have lasted longer. (Maybe we will see it again in new Monsterverse movies?)
I was particularly impressed with how they made Godzilla crawl as he attacked. I've never seen a Godzilla do that and damn, it was impressive! Both on the ship and in the city.
The supporting story was a bit better this time. It followed Kong's connection with people established in Kong: Skull Island. The high technology for the transports seemed out of place at first but it was needed to support the technology of a MechaGodzilla so it actually worked out in the end.
Tho the effects of falling to Hollow Earth still doesn't make sense as they showed it.
