*Zack Snyder's Justice League 2 (Rumored)Digital Spy (07/21/2021)
Right now, it looks as though the new version of Justice League will satisfy Snyder fans, but is about as far as his vision of the team will go.
In January 2021, Snyder told ComicBook Debate that he has "no plan" to continue this world despite his original plan for more movies as he's "got a lot going on". He did add though: "But like I said, I didn't think I'd be here, so who knows?"
For Warner Bros, Zack Snyder's Justice League has reportedly been described as a "storytelling cul-de-sac" and not something that will be continued, which is how Snyder sees it right now too.
That would be a fair few years away though by all accounts (and still unlikely), so we imagine that if Snyder does return to DC, it might be for a different movie rather than a direct sequel to Justice League.
The likeliest option right now for a Justice League 2 – or another Justice League movie, rather than a direct sequel – seems to be a reboot, similar to James Gunn's approach to The Suicide Squad.
After all, Ben Affleck is no longer Batman (although he will appear in The Flash) and Cavill appears to only be cameoing as Superman for now, so that's already two major characters that wouldn't be the same as before, making a direct sequel unlikely.
ustice League 2 could conceivably go ahead without them, we suppose, although they are traditionally core members of the team. Otherwise, DC would be looking at recasting some of its leads while retaining Gadot, Momoa and the rest, a confusing proposition to be sure.
Either way, a new Justice League sequel looks a long way off.
At least with their recent box-office successes, Warner Bros has finally shed its reputation as a studio unable to make superhero movies work – so that means we can never rule out another attempt at a team-up movie.
ScreenRant (08/06/2021)
Fans will have to wait for a Justice League sequel as producer Charles Roven confirms if there is one planned, it will be years away from release.
Justice League 2 was originally announced to be released on June 14, 2019, but Warner Bros. chose to focus on Justice League being one film and the release date abdicated. Zack Snyder's well-documented plans for a second Justice League and third film would have seen the League fighting The Legion of Doom with Darkseid and the New Gods being a primary threat in a third film. However, those sequel plans remain unlikely, because Snyder has stepped away from Warner Bros. in favor of Netflix, Zack Snyder's Justice League is considered non-canon to Warner Bros. executives, Ray Fisher stepped down from the role of Cyborg due to Walter Hamada's continued involvement with Warner Bros., and no word remains on Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck's status as Superman and Batman, respectively.
In the next few years, the DCEU will be expanding with more heroes joining the fray. Since Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and the Flash united together in the first Justice League, characters like Shazam! and the Birds of Prey have joined the DCEU with Static Shock, Blue Beetle, Supergirl, Batgirl, and Zatanna all expected to get films within the coming years. Katana from Suicide Squad tends to have ties to the various DC heroes, and Black Adam will introduce an incarnation of the JSA that includes long-standing members of the Justice League like Dr. Fate and Hawkman, who could easily crossover into other films. With these various heroes, a Justice League 2 could unite a new set of heroes that could generate audience excitement.
The Suicide Squad could be a guide for what Warner Bros. eventually decides to do with a Justice League sequel. The 2016 Suicide Squad was a box-office hit but was a disappointment among critics and audiences, and Warner Bros. needed to rehabilitate the brand as there was still value in the concept. The Suicide Squad brings back four characters from the original film (Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Rick Flagg, and Amanda Waller) and trusts that audiences remember the basic concept but is also allowed to be its own new take on the material that is more of a standalone and introduce a large number of new characters. Justice League 2 could easily bring back fan-favorites like Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Jason Momoa as Aquaman and pair them with exciting new combinations like Zachary Levi's Shazam, Sasha Callie's Supergirl, and whoever else audiences seem to respond to.

Zack Snyder on Snyderverse: It’s ‘Completely Mapped Out’
Zack Snyder’s Justice League is far from the end of the story—but whether we ever see how that story ends is another matter. As you likely know by now, director Zack Snyder got a chance to finally complete his version of Justice League some four years after a terrible family tragedy led him to leave the project. The movie was subsequently turned over to Joss Whedon to finish, with a committee of studio execs calling the shots every step of the way and creating a weird Frankenstein’s monster of a film that was released in 2017.
But Snyder restored his version last year, debuting it on HBO Max earlier this spring. And it’s led fans to demand that the entire DC film universe be handed back to Snyder so that he could carry on with the now largely abandoned mythology, colloquially known as the Snyderverse. After all,

If Zack Snyder ever gets to make Justice League 2, Leslie Jones expects to play the lead villain. Back in March, Jones was among the millions of DC fans watching the much-anticipated four-hour "Snyder Cut" when it premiered on HBO Max. On Twitter, she was particularly vocal about her opinions of the extended movie, live-tweeting the experience with 87 total tweets while using the hashtag #longassmovie.
At the time, Zack Snyder noticed all of the attention Jones had been giving to the movie. In a tweet posted to his own account, the filmmaker said directly to Jones: "The official Zsjl whisperer, I bow to you my queen." Recently appearing on The Tonight Show, Jones was asked about the moment by Jimmy Fallon. When Jimmy remarked that the nod was "cool," here's what Leslie Jones said in response.

Zack Snyder on Restoring the SnyderVerse: It's Not My Call
As we know, Zack Snyder's Justice League, his unique vision for the Dceu. is finally here and has opened to massively positive reviews. This impossibility came true because of the viral and widespread #RestoreTheSnyderCut campaign that pushed Warner Bros. to let Snyder complete his vision. But now, fans want more- they want the AT&T-owned company to restore the SnyderVerse completely, which means allowing the filmmaker to carve out Dceu's future in his own way. While Snyder has confirmed that it is not up to him to decide the fate of the SnyderVerse, when it comes to what is canon- 2017's Justice League or the Snyder's Cut- he will "let the fans decide."
In a chat with Pop Culture Weekly with Kyle McMahon, the director spoke at length about the future of the SnyderVerse and how, despite Warner Bros. considering the theatrical cut of the Justice League canon, the

26 March 2021 by Neeraj Chand MovieWeb Zack Snyder Will Do a Different Story in the Off Chance He Ever Makes Another DC Movie
Ever since the release of Man of Steel, Zack Snyder has established himself as the most controversial director working in the superhero movie genre. With the release of Zack Snyder's Justice League, the filmmaker's fans are now campaigning for Warner Bros. to allow Snyder to finish his Justice League trilogy with two more movies, as had been the original plan. In a recent interview, Snyder hinted that there are plenty of stories left to explore in potential Justice League sequels.
"There are some hints [about Justice League 2 and 3], but more I would say on a sort of teaser level to what would come. But this was really a big bite anyway, what we wanted to do for this first Justice League film. So there was a lot to get done in the first four hours, I felt like, and that was really all we shot. Though yes, there was a plan for more.
