Skwirlinator = tomishereagain
A few days ago I got an email from UNDEAD1 telling me that he was back on the interwebs with a new community. I was here and a member before I finished reading the email. HorrorFlix was fun and I loved those zany movie-chats we used to have. I'm all into a chance to do it again.
I looked around the site but couldn't find a place to post so I tried adding a few videos. I PMed UNDEAD1 with a few suggestions and he asked if I wanted to help out. I figured sure, why not and he made me part of his staff and told me to go ahead.
I started working on a community section where us members could participate and its starting to come together. Still have some work to do but it is usable as it is. Kudos to UNDEAD1 for the movies he has gathered for us. He's a dynamo!

Tom's Bio
First, I should point out that my name really is Tom and I will answer to Tom so there is no need to write out ishereagain when addressing me.
TomIsHereAgain is a screenname I adopted due to the fact that I return again and again to the communities that I am a member of. So when you see me online - yup, he's here again. LOL
One thing you will notice about me is that I type a lot. Some of my posts can get really long. This is cause I have lots to say and I don't mind expressing myself. My Bio here will give you a clue as to why I am like that.
Where the Hell is Tom?
I grew up in Northwest Pennsylvania in a small train town. A little shithole that was mostly Bars and Hotels. I graduated High School 1/2 a semester early and went to Trade School to be a Mechanic. Earned an Associates Degree and couldn't find work so I joined the US Navy Seabees for 7 years active.
I visited many countries thanx to the US Navy and started a family in 1985. We had 3 boys and one girl and things were pretty normal till the wife went crazy and we ended the marriage in 2010. I now have 12 grandchildren with another on the way.
The majority of my family life was spent around St. Louis, MO. where I worked steady as a truck mechanic. I tried moving back to NWPA but the old saying 'You can never go home again" held true and we moved back to St Louis. I had a severe reaction to some chemicals at work and got deathly sick, almost died again. Being sick and out of work with no income the wife decided she had enough and left - well, the kids were already gone so there I was, sick with no income. I applied for disability and got it approved in 1 month.
I decided there was nothing there for me in St. Louis so I decided to move to the coast near where my youngest son lives. That was a smart move.
I now live in a new, modern duplex apartment a mere mile from the beach. My bills are paid and my health is stable but still kinda bad. There are days I don't even step outside, as a matter of fact, its now Wednesday and I haven't been outside since Sunday.
So, Right Now:
Tom is in his living room, near the beach on the south coast of the United States, on the bottom of the North American continent of the planet Earth circling the star Sol in the Orion Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy which is part of the Local Group of galaxies in the Virgo Super-Cluster of the Visible Universe.
The Philosophies of Tom
I'm what you might call a realist.
I try to see all things as what they actually are and work daily to strip delusions from my life. I don't name my truck and I don't see inanimate objects as things with personalities.
I operate on my own set of guidelines and I actually like who I am.
I write little quips of wisdom I gain from time to time:
What Do I Bring To The Table?
I collect things, especially movies music and TV Shows.
I currently have 12 Terra-bytes of storage and it is filling up fast
Additionally I have 1.7 TB of music, 900 GB of eBooks, 400 GB of audio books and radio shows, 5 GB of pictures and 3o GB of family home movies.
I have been working with computers since 1986 in the Navy and been online personally since 1995.
My HP Vision PC from 2011 is running 64 bit windows 7 and runs perfect.
I have an old 2007 Compaq Presario running 32 bit windows 7 that runs good but I only use it for art.
I have a 9" tablet I picked up at Big Lots cheap and it is android but I only use it when traveling.
I have a AT&T android smart phone with Free Magic Jack that I never use.
My internet connection is AT&T at 17mbs with wireless at $62.00 @ mo. It is unlimited and I have had no issues with it whatsoever, for the 2 years running.
I have time, lots of time.
I watch a lot of movies and play a lot of music. It is nothing for me to play 6 or 8 movies a day. I watch TV shows a season at a time.
I do not have TV service. No cable, no satellite and no antenna.
My 50" Sanyo flat screen is my computer monitor and my JVC surround sound receiver is my audio. I have 10 speakers arranged around my living room - Four of which are 250 watt-per-channel MTX 36" loud speakers.
I have a Japanese X-Box 360 my son got for me in Japan.
I write flash fiction, not really good flash fiction but I try.
I play around on my laptop making graphics and tee shirt designs, I also do custom envelopes.
I have been active on Forum based Communities like this one for many years. I am familiar with BBCode and use it extensively while posting. I see my topic posts as a work of art.
I am not one to buy into other people's drama. If I post a reply I usually mean exactly what I wrote. If I am joking around I will usually say so with a (-jk) indicator.
I am looking for friendships.
I am looking for a girlfriend. (yes, I am available)
I am looking for some great discussions.
I do want to have fun.
I will join in for movie-chats.
A Final Note
For anyone that cared to read my drivel I Welcome you to GhostTown. Our members are what makes this community fun. As part of our staff, I am always available to you. Just shoot me a PM. Why must people always try to be happy? Contentment is the best state of being. Happiness, Sadness, Anger and Joy are not meant to be constants.
Intelligence is the ability to reason. Wisdom is the application of experience. Smart is wisdom without experience.
Associations with other people builds wisdom through experience. Choosing the correct associations to increase your wisdom is smart. Knowing this is intelligence.
Okay, I've given this careful consideration....What does a nose smell like?
I collect things, especially movies music and TV Shows.

Roughly...2 hrs per movie, 10 hrs a day, 7 days a week, I have about 17 years of movies. Add 45 min per episode, 10 hrs a day, 7 days a week - another 3 years of TV shows, add another 12 song per hour 10 hrs a day I have another 4 years of music and if I add in the music video library I have accumulated, another 6 years. I have 30 years of entertainment available at a click.
I'm 55 years old, If I stop getting new files right now, I would be 85 years old before needing anything new. I am not planning on stopping my collecting habits anytime soon. Wanna watch a movie?
