At one time I had a lot of PC games and demos. I used to make it a point to buy at least 1 game a month. I always remapped my keyboard and mouse to specific functions. When I bought this system, my graphics card will not handle some of those games. There are a few that I still play.
All the Age of Empires games still play. I have to run all but AOE3 in compatability mode but they still play. Thinking of replaying AOE3 soon, its been awhile.
Halo CE will not play on this pc no matter how hard I try. I gave it away.
Star Wars Empire at War and the expansion Forces of Corruption still play. I have it uninstalled right now. I uninstall all the games when I finish them so next time I play I have to start over from the beginning.
I have a few Steam games. HalfLife series, Left 4 Dead 2 and a couple Dawn of Wars. I've downloaded some mods for L4D2 and HalfLife but I barely run them.
I have the UnReal Boxed set. I still play Unreal 2 off n on.
I have Doom3 that I will install and play sometimes. It usually doesn't take long to get tired of it tho.
Quake 4 still plays and I think I still have a demo of Quake 2 that still plays. Quake 4 is like Doom 3, It gets old quick.
I still like playing Universe at War from time to time. Its another compatability mode game.
I'll play Sword of the Stars when I am really bored. I have to run it with an application verifier and compatability mode so it doesn't get played much anymore.
The Thing is really glitchy. It crashes if you look at it wrong but I love playing it. I usually install it right after watching the movies. I also only play it at night.
PJ King Kong is another super glitchy game. The game really sux but I just love fighting dinosaurs! Been over a year since I played it. Might try to get it to work in the near future.
I have Command & Conquer games. One is C&C3 which is a stand alone (I like the Kanes Wrath expansion best) the others are thru Origin and I hate that place. Of the games at Origin for C&C I only really play Renegade.
I have Galactic Assault - Prisoner of War but I haven't played it in years.
I have a copy of The Firefly Online interface but never play it anymore.
I have a copy of Babylon 5 I've Found Her but haven't played that in awhile either.
I have Stronghold Crusader Extreme but never play it anymore either.
At one time I had an account at IGN where I had all my games for all my systems listed. I forgot that username and password 3 computers ago. I stopped buying games for my computer. Seems my system can't play most of them anyway. I tried to install Zoo Tycoon and it installed then set forth a bunch of errors. Lots of the games I gave away were Win95 compatable. Some of my favorites like Machines and RedLine are still missed.
I guess PC gaming is not really my thing anymore. I never really got into online gaming much. Mostly because until recently my internet connection was spotty at best. I think its been about 4 months since I've even turned on my X-Box 360. When I get a hankering for a game, I play one I already have or hit up some online flash games. I used to like arkanoids but recently been doing match 3 and path clearing. From time to time I will go play some online pool.
Do you still play games on your PC?
If so, what are you playing?
List your games or just your favorites.
Tell us about how you keep it all compatable.
Do you use emulators?
Do you have a special gaming PC or laptop?
